EOC, Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale, it's a Swiss network of hospitals that provides basic services as well as highly complex specialisations. This multisite reality, which permeates the cantonal territory, is organised and managed as a modern company at service to patients.

Goals

With the goal of making its services as efficient as possible and guaranteeing higher quality in their daily operations to every customers, Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale has chosen WSS IT, the Bellinzona branch of WSS, for the remote management of part of its IT systems.

Solution

EOC was looking for a partner that could provide 24/7 management support on its IBM i partitions. WSS was selected due to its proven know-how, a long list of, references and above all a clear action plan, which is not limited to the routine management of systems, but includes continuous evolution of the technology in use, improvement of procedures and optimisation of the database.
